Their stunning celebration even caught the eye of Italian Vogue, who featured their wedding for its seamless blend of heritage, high fashion, and heartfelt beauty. Blending Thalia’s Chinese-Indonesian roots with Nicolò’s Italian heritage, every moment reflected tradition, elegance, and deep personal meaning.

The wedding took place at Villa Erba, a 19th-century villa that once hosted Italian royalty and film stars. With its ornate interiors, expansive gardens, and lakefront views, it was the ideal backdrop for a luxurious multicultural wedding. The day began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony honoring close family. Thalia wore a custom red cheongsam by Stella Lunardy, paired with shimmering Mach & Mach heels. Nicolò wore a classic changshan, elegant and understated, designed by Bie Hin Tailor.
